Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tet) is upon us and what better way to start the celebrations than to take a tour to learn more about it. For a limited time, Hidden Saigon is offering a hands-on tour allowing guests to explore and learn about the food, traditions and games that are played during Tet.
Tour Agenda
· Visit to the local street and flower markets to explore the food and decorative items
· Visit to a local resident’s home to hear how her family celebrates Tet including a sampling of some traditional Tet snacks
· Hands-on making of traditional Tet cake. After you finish making the cake, we will cook it and deliver it to you once it’s ready for you to enjoy with your own friends and family
· Street food snacks along the way.
