FOUNDER'S MESSAGE : IT'S BEEN A LONG AND WINDY ROAD

It's been some time since our last blog update, so I wanted to share what Hidden Saigon has been doing over the past few years.

After a lengthy pause due to COVID-19 and its impact on Vietnam's tourism sector, Hidden Saigon took a short break to recover and plan our next steps.

Since then, we have shifted to a more B2B-oriented approach, expanded our client base, established more collaborations, introduced new workshops, and started hosting community events.

The global recession in 2024 has severely affected the industry this year, and although there has been an increase in large group tourists, the smaller luxury market has suffered significantly.

We are all optimistic that 2025 will be an improvement, and from the way things are developing, it seems to be heading in that direction. According to market research group Cimigo's latest Vietnam Consumer Trends 2024 report, there's a remarkable 43% increase in inbound international tourists, totaling 12.7 million as of September 2024. Wellness travel is emerging and there's an "increasing demand for solo travel with demand for experience and authentic itineraries, social media driving acceptance and a digital nomad culture and infrastructure."

Meanwhile, stay updated by checking out our newly launched TikTok channel or following us on Instagram.
